Posted by: kimminsj • September 27th, 2017 Dexter Welcomes Tyler Jensen to the Role of Vice President Tyler Jensen assumes his new role of Vice President on June 1. He has been with Dexter since 2012. Tyler Jensen will become Dexter Bowling’s newest vice president, effective June 1. For the past five years, Tyler has represented Dexter in the Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas and Hawaii territories, excelling in his role as the company’s sales representative for the south central region. He was selected to the VP position based on his insight, industry experience and performance by the current vice president, Bud Clapsaddle, who announced last year that he will retire at the end of 2017. The most difficult responsibility for any leader is to find the appropriate replacement when the time comes to step down,” says Bud Clapsaddle, who will be working with Tyler through the end of the year. I am confident that I am turning over the leadership of Dexter Bowling to the right man. Tyler may be young in years, but he has been involved with the bowling industry for a long time. He understands our goals and challenges and I believe he will do a great job leading Dexter Bowling into the future.” Tyler’s wide spectrum of industry experience includes such impressive achievements as opening a pro shop in the late 1990s when he was only 16, joining the PBA regional tour while he was still a teenager, and amassing 15 tournament wins while competing as a professional bowler. In 2005, he opened the first Ballard’s Bowling Solutions with Del Ballard and Carolyn Dorin-Ballard. He has also held a sales management role with Storm Products. The bowling industry is quite unique and being able to experience nearly every facet of it has given me some great insights into the challenges of bowling as a sport, and as a business,” Tyler says. I’m positive that I will be bouncing ideas off Bud for a long time, as his development, leadership and creativity have kept Dexter at the forefront as the #1 bowling shoe in the world. I believe I have an excellent team in Andover. I look forward to working with them and helping to develop what’s new in the pipeline for Dexter.” Posted by: kimminsj • May 31st, 2017 DEXTER TO SPONSOR 2017 ELIAS CUP AND ROTH/HOLMAN DOUBLES CHAMPIONSHIP Dexter Bowling is proud to be the official bowling shoe sponsor of the upcoming 2017 L.L.
